BUGGY WHIP
A high visibility reflective flag is located the left hand side of the vehicle. This is on a 3 – 3.5m pole and is required for increased vehicle visibility.

FIRE EXTINGUISHER 2.3 KG
We stock 2.3KG Fire Extinguishers in our NEWMONT Compliant vehicles for added safety.
FIRST AID KIT
Kits must be supplied for minor scrapes and injuries.
FLASHING LIGHT
Flashing amber lights must be present on all vehicles entering NEWMONT sites.
HEADLIGHTS ON
POSITIVE ID SIGNAGE
This clearly identifies the vehicle with its radio call sign. They are placed on both sides of the vehicle, with reflective yellow text on a black background.
PROTECTIVE SECURITY FILM ON WINDOWS
REFLECTIVE TAPE
For increased visibility, reflective tape is to run along both sides of the vehicle.
REVERSE BEEPER
For safety, a reverse beeper is required.
VHF Radio
All vehicles entering a SANTOS site must carry digital VHF radios.
WHEEL CHOCKS
Visible wheel chocks are required for all vehicles parked on sloped surfaces.
WHITE VEHICLE COLOUR
For increased visibility, white vehicle colour is required. Hardwired Headlights On and Spotlights are also required.
